Writing is communication manifest. It is without doubt one of the few traditions we have left and for good reason. Though our methods of delivery may change, writing is still and always will be a creative option to discover the yearnings of our very selves. I have been writing seriously for over twenty years and pursue a lifestyle with this in mind. My work has been varied but follows the art of rather than the technique in the work. I have worked with others in creating stories, articles, reports, books, journals and of course, ceremonies which work in perfectly with the AWEN concept.
We are all writers, make no mistake, some practice more than others. We all have questions about ourselves and about the world in which we live. Writing helps us understand our thoughts and philosophies. Children especially are encouraged and all of us can benefit from the journalling experience which may also include drawing. It is a basic human need to express and writing or drawing allows us to find connection to that which would otherwise be undiscovered, this is saddening. In any way we can, teaching, speaking, supporting and simply doing it ourselves, we create because it frees us to be ourselves in a world which doesn't always encourage the same. We live, we learn, we love and we create.
